Why is my M1 or M2 Mac Crashing when using KeyShot?
M1 and M2 Macs will crash randomly when using KeyShot. Crashes usually do not have a specific error and do not have any specific procedure that causes them to crash.
Environment Details
- KeyShot
- 2023 or older
- M1 or M2 Mac
- Mac using ARM
Cause
- Since Apple changed the hardware from an intel chip to ARM architecture in M1 and M2 computers, this caused instability when using KeyShot.
Resolution
This is a known issue of crashing on M1 and M2 Macs. This issue has been resolved in our latest version. You can download and install it using the link below:
